we all have a voice inside that encourages us to be greater than we believe ourselves to be. it urges us to nurture, create and wander. that voice speaks in whispers and we repeat its urgings as wishes-- I wish I had time to paint, to craft, to write... to whatever it is that we do that helps us become who we are. The journey is mostly private but the voice you hear is not very different from the one that speaks in me. it is not about the destination but rather who you become along the way

National Scrapbooking Day Countdown
Good news... I'm actually off on NSD so I'm hoping to be able to participate in some of the cool online challenges and the what not. With a toddler, my days are always a little unscheduled and unpredictable, but he's been pretty good about letting mommy do other things while he happily plays with stickers. Two more days for comment posting for my little scrapbook giveaway. Remember all you have to do is leave a comment on any post. I can't believe tomorrow is May 1. I still have a Mother's Day card to make, and then a birthday card for mom, too. I am sending Mom some Godiva sugar free chocolates for Mother's Day though, so I'm covered if the card runs late : P . I hope to see a few more comments up here before I have to choose a winner... more choices makes it easier.
I was totally glad to know I had NSBD off as well. Thanks for the reminder about Mother's Day cards. I need to get on that REAL quick here!
ReplyDeleteI need to make a few mother's day cards going to work on those this week. I had to work for NSBD but I will remember to ask for it off next year. It was fun what I could participate in since I was at work. hope everyone else had a great day too.
